Employees open their hearts, wallets for Hawaii

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ employees, including the company match, have donated more than $405,689 to help Hawaii recover from wildfires.

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ announced a $500,000 donation from the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Charitable Trust that will assist those impacted by the recent wildfire that devastated Maui. Funding will go to the following organizations:Ìý

  • $250,000 forÌýÌýto maintain shelters for those seeking refuge and provide comfort kits, clean-up kits, nourishing meals, information and other resources.
  • $250,000 forÌýÌýto provide shelter, food, grief support and more to impacted communities.

Disaster relief efforts align with ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ’s ongoing commitment to the communities where ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ employees live and work.ÌýÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ employs 151 people in Hawaii. Previous to this donation, ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ has contributed more than $760,000 to charitable causes there over the past five years.

As part of the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Gift Match program, ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ will match employees’ monetary donations to eligible charities dollar for dollar. As of August 28, ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ employees, including the company match, have donated more than $405,689 to help the people of Hawaii recover from the wildfires.Ìý
